Web browser
This course material is HTML based, so you can use any standard web browser to view the pages and do the activities. However we recommend Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome for best viewing and printing results.
Full screen
For a best viewing experience you might want to go full screen in your web browser, as to avoid interface distractions. Follow these directions depending on your operating system:
- If you are using a Windows PC, press the F11 function key on any browser
- If you are using an Apple Mac, use the combination Shift+Command+F on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Opera. Please note this option does not work in Safari at present.
Multimedia
Most multimedia elements in this course use open source standards, audio and video files use the Flash plug-in. You will need to have it installed in your computer to be able to use these files, and it is desirable that you use the latest version.
If you see a green tick with the message "Flash Player OK" right above this paragraph, it means that you do not need to install Flash Player. However, if you see a red cross with the message "Please upgrade Flash Player", or if you don't see anything at all, you can download it here
